I’m Angelica Malin, a high-energy charity auctioneer and fundraising consultant working with schools across New York City and North America. As a Brooklyn mom of 2, I bring warmth, humour and a personal touch to your live auction and appeal.
Whether you’re planning a school gala or PTA fundraiser, I’ll help make the fundraising feel like a highlight of the evening, not an interruption.
Every school has its own personality. Your fundraiser should reflect it.
You might have a room full of longtime supporters who know exactly when to raise their paddles. You might be welcoming new families to their first school benefit. More likely, you’ll have a mix of both.
My approach is to make everyone feel included. I combine engaging storytelling and playful audience interaction with respect for your community. The aim is a room that feels connected, not pressured. I LOVE working with NYC schools and am now booking 2027 Spring galas.

Auctioneer Coaching
Have a gala or fundraising event coming up and don’t have the budget to hire an auctioneer? Don’t worry, you can still work with me! I offer a select number of schools every year the opportunity to work with me 1:1 as an auctioneer coach.
I can train your parent representative or pro bono auctioneer to give them the skills to succeed from the stage. I will coach them through how to auctioneer, get the crowd going and raise more money.
Live Auction Design
I can also assist with live auction design. I have assisted many schools in NYC to curate their live auctions, selecting packages and trips that will sell well to a school community. I will work with you 1:1 to select items for your live auction and connect you with relevant partners to help take your gala to the next level (and generate more cash!).
